Adoptable Pets

Sage was left to run wild when her “kitten-cuteness” wore off. Thrown outside, she was never allowed the opportunity to be a kitten before she had kittens of her own to care for. She has changed so much during her time in foster care learning to trust again. She is a sweet, quiet, non-demanding little girl who is just happy to be somewhere safe and be petted and she loves to cuddle.  Sage is a DSH, Tortie about 2 yrs old, spayed and current with vaccinations.

Timmy is a handsome black & white cat with large expressive ears.  He tilts his head with a sweet, kind look on his face when he wants attention, which is often.  His foster mom found him in her backyard and brought him in so he could have a chance at life.  He is 1/12 years old, quiet and well behaved, tested, neutered and has had all his shots

Sparky is a beautiful  short haired female tiger about 1 yr. She enjoys playing with her friend Max who is also available for adoption. She is looking for her forever family who will love her like she deserves. Sparky is spayed and updated with shots.

Vita is an American Bull dog mix.  She is a little over 1 year old and is spayed.   She gets along very well with other dogs and is a real sweetheart.  When she went to her new foster home she acted like she had always been there.  The foster home tells us that this girl is one special dog!

Rico is a friendly, laid back kind of a cat.  He was rescued from roaming the neighborhood and he had such a nice personality that he was brought into the program for adoption.  Rico is used to being outside in a secure fenced in area where he likes to lounge in the sun.  Do you have a place for Rico?

Sebastian is an adult, male, white and gray cat.  He was left to fend for himself when one of our foster homes took him in.  He has never regretted being taken in and has made himself at home with the other cats and dogs there.  Need a cat that will just fit in?  He may be the one!

Oliver is the petite sibling of Gabe and Milo. Being dumped was much harder on him physically than it was on his brothers. His long white and orange hair was covered in grease and he is much thinner than his brothers. Another bath or two and he'll look fabulous and feel a lot better. Like his brothers, he is a cat that loves to be held and purrs constantly. He will even climb up and curl up on top of one of his brothers if they are being held. Definitely a lap cat. He will be ready to go to his forever home in the middle of May. Call 716-559-3020 or email saveapetofniagara@yahoo.com

Sweetie was named appropriately.  She is a very nice girl who is comfortable in her foster home with other cats and dogs.  She would rather be on your lap or sleeping next to you though.  She has a very laid back personality and would love to join your family now.

Tortie
Tortie is a wonderful tortoise-shell kitty who is 1 to 2 years old.  She is very shy at first, but once you start to pet her, she doesn't want you to stop!  She will grab at your hand with her claws but not in an aggressive manner to pull your hand back to her so you keep petting.  She was left at a foreclosed house to fend for herself.  She had a clean bill of health from the vet.  She is good with other cats.

Grace was hit by a car and left to fend for herself.  She was in pain, but never complained.  Now she's fully healed after surgery and has turned into a beautiful. loving cat.  She's a one year old light gray tiger with a sweet disposition and very affectionate.  She meows for attention.  She has had all her vet work done, just waiting for that special person to give  her the life she deserves.

Grace would have never been here today if it wasn't for the fact that someone knew she needed help.  It was cold out and Grace could barely walk.  Once inside it was evident that she had been hit by a car and needed vet care.  She had hip surgery in December and now in the beginning of January she is back on her feet and doing very well.  She is a short haired grey tiger and is about 1 year old.  She is friendly and despite having her leg shaved for surgery, she is happy to be alive and out of pain.

Buddy is a 6 year old boxer mix. He has a very winning personality and loves everyone. He is white and brindle and will make a great friend and companion.

Please be sure you can make a lifetime commitment to our pets before you contact us. A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Too many cats are thrown away because of life changes. When our pets leave us we want them to be in their forever homes. You MUST provide a vet reference along with phone numbers. Call 716-559-3020 or email saveapetofniagara@yahoo.com

About Our Pets

When you come to our shows and see our beautiful, adoptable pets, please consider that they have been through a lot.  When you reach for that pet the first time, be patient.  Let the pet get to know you.  Remember that they all have a history, some abused, some strays, some lost, and some turned in by their person for various reasons.  When you take your new friend home, it is a sacred trust to take care of them.  Allow them room to grow and get to know you.  It is well worth the few days or maybe weeks to have a friend for the rest of your life.
